Real Tech Solutions is a software engineering company based in South Africa. Meetings, reviews and handover all happen online, so the people we work with can be anywhere.
Teams usually come to us for one of three reasons: they have no developers in house, they need extra capacity on a defined piece of work, or a system built by someone else needs reviewing and fixing. In each case we start with a short discovery conversation, agree a written scope and quote, and only then begin.
Our live client work today is in South Africa, and you can open it from our work page. We do not publish client names we have not agreed with them, and we do not claim projects we have not delivered.

Which time zone do you work in?
South Africa Standard Time, which is two hours ahead of UTC all year with no daylight saving. That gives a full working day of overlap with the UK and most of Europe, and a morning overlap with the east coast of the United States.
Who owns the software and the data?
You do. We agree ownership of the code and the data in writing before work starts, and you receive everything needed to run or move the system.
How do we communicate during a project?
In writing first, with a shared channel, regular check-ins by video call and a short written update at each stage. We agree the channels and the hours at the start.
What currency do you quote in?
Quotes are issued in South African rand. Each quote lists every item and is valid for 30 days.
Can you work with our existing team?
Yes. We can take a defined piece of a project, add capacity to your team, or take over a system someone else built after reviewing it, and tell you honestly what to keep, fix or replace.
How do we get started?
