The safest way to start with AI is a small pilot with a clear question. You learn what works in weeks, with little money at risk.
Choose one task
Pick something small, frequent and low risk, such as sorting enquiries or drafting standard replies. Avoid anything that touches money, contracts or sensitive decisions.
Set the measures first
Write down how you will judge it before you begin.
- How long the task takes now
- How often the result needs correcting
- What staff and customers think
- What it costs to run
Run, review, decide
Run the pilot for a few weeks beside the normal process. Compare the results honestly, then expand it, change it or stop, and write down what you learned.
