Accessibility means people with poor eyesight, limited movement or a slow connection can still use your site. The fixes are usually small and they help everyone.

Text people can read

Use dark text on a light background or the reverse, with strong contrast, and keep body text at a comfortable size. Never rely on colour alone to show meaning.

Use it without a mouse

Press the Tab key through your pages. You should always see where you are, reach every link and button, and never get stuck in a menu or pop up window.

Describe and label

Add short descriptions to meaningful images, label every form field in text, and write link text that makes sense out of context, such as View the packages rather than Click here.
