Open your site on your phone, on mobile data rather than Wi-Fi, and check the basics.
- Text is readable without zooming
- Buttons are big enough for a thumb
- Nothing runs off the side of the screen
- The menu opens and closes properly
- Phone numbers and WhatsApp links work with one tap
Try the forms
Fill in your own contact form on the phone. Check that the right keyboard appears for email and phone fields and that the confirmation message is clear.
Check the speed
Load the home page and count how long before you can read it. If you are waiting, images and scripts are usually the cause.
